Hi everyone,

I’m excited to announce that I am now offering online piano lessons via Skype, Zoom or FaceTime.  With the digital age, it no longer matters where you live.  You can study with me even if you are half way around the world!

Who am I?

I have been studying and performing Jazz Piano for over 30 years.  Here are some of my achievements:

  • 1998 Jazz Ambassador (tour to India/Sri Lanka) sponsored by the US State Dept
  • Toured/Recorded w/jazz alto sax legend Lee Konitz
  • Recorded w/blues legend John Lee Hooker
  • Best Jazz with Vocals album from the 14th and 18th annual IMA Awards
    (Independent Music Awards)
  • Pianist and Music Director/Composer for The Lost American Jazzbook, an award winning jazz group based in the San Francisco Bay Area
  • John Lennon Songwriting Competition finalist
  • Best Jazz Musician (1996) at the University of Wisconsin/Madison

I studied with piano masters Fred Hersch, Kenny Werner, Dan Tepfer, Geoffrey KeezerMike Kocour and more…

After 20 years of honing my teaching skills, I have developed many finely tuned methods for teaching jazz piano including:

  • Learning how to form 1 and 2-handed, rich sounding chords
  • Mastering rhythmic principles (incl LH/RH separation)
  • Tools for learning how to improvise
  • Scales, Patterns, Exercises and much more!

As a special promotion, I will be offering your first hour lesson for just $55 right now.  If you are interested in learning more about online lessons, feel free to contact me.  Visit my CONTACT page to get in touch.
